The Edmonton International Baseball Foundation (EIBF) 
& the International Baseball Federation (IBF) have announced 
that Edmonton will host the 2012 Women's World Cup.  
This 8 country, 36 game event will be held from August 10th to
19th, 2012 with the majority of the games being played at 
Telus Field. This is the second time this event has been 
awarded to Edmonton, the last time was in 2004
